My daughter is five and she loves bananas.It’s one of the healthiest snacks she has.Why children,everyone can snack on it. !My daughter will have it, only if it’s just right amount of ripe and firm.
I asked my daughter why she likes bananas.She gave a simple answer.
Because its healthy and yummy!
That’s a straight quote from a five-year-old.While travelling this fruit is easy to get anywhere .We went hunting for it while shopping in Goa too ! People with raised blood sugar should avoid too ripe ones.But a few slices of the just ripe banana or unripe ones are great even for them .

Do you need to be careful of Bananas?
If you are on Beta-blockers ( a medicine commonly given for heart disease) ,banana can increases serum levels of potassium. Definitely, consult your doctor before adding a banana to your diet.
If you have a kidney problem, it’s best you consult your doctor before making any dietary changes.If kidneys can’t maintain the potassium balance, then the increase serum potassium can be dangerous for you.
If you are allergic ,you will need to avoid this fruit .
